A quick (buzzkill) note: this isn't a jab at the scientific community, it's a joke on human nature. I value the scientific work people do and I don't care if someone is solving a problem for personal gain, at least they are actually doing something about it unlike most people who say they care and then just "Like" some generic support page on Facebook.
Anyway, now that I sucked all of the fun out of that one, maybe you'll learn to ignore news posts.
